Another 2010 Win?

Ok Kadeezy, you only have the Hornets pegged for one more win this season. Do you think they can win more than that, or are you sticking to your original picks? The Hornets have been playing tough close games but have not found a way to get some wins. I’m hoping they can sneak a few more and come close to 10 wins. Possible wins are @ISU, vs EWU, @ Seattle, and vs NAU. I don’t see the Hornets with much of a chance against any of the other teams left on the schedule. The Hornets are keeping with tradition in being a terrible road team so I’m not holding too much stock the games at ISU & Seattle, but seeing as they beat those two teams at home, I have to say they have a chance in those two games.

Thoughts anyone?

The results may have been the same as in the past but that was one of the tougher Sacramento State teams I've watched. Play like that the rest of the season and the Hornets will get another win or two. Don't give up on this team.

SD, I think your analysis is spot on.

I only have the Hornets pegged for one more win this year, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we snuck up on 1 or 2 other teams before the year is out. I think there's a 0% change of winning more than three games (getting to 11 or more wins) for the remainder of the schedule. However, I think it's about 30% chance we get to 10 wins, which would be a marked improvement and a successful season IMO...

There's no doubt this team is better than last year, but we lack the offensive firepower other BSC teams get from post players and more physical wing players.

If Katz continues bringing in upgraded talent, which I think he can, there's no reason this shouldn't be a BSC tourney team next year...
