Another fluffy pancake hits the plate

How in the world did you attribute that to Garside. That piece was straight from WSUs web site, written by someone in the athletic department, and reprinted by the Standard. Get it right. :dunce:

1. They attributed the story to Standard Examiner Staff. I think that is actually worse. They should have stated that it was contributed.
2. Yes it was a copy
3. I think it would be nice if we could get more coverage out of our paper than the average coach speak crap we have been getting. Don't we deserve better coverage? I think so.

Why not tell us about the process of making a schedule? Tell us the difficulties of bringing D1 schools to the DEE. Explain how we were able to get into another good pre-season tournament. Talk about how the game with Portland at the Moda center came to be. I just want some balanced journalism. Is that too much to ask?

:thumb: Great questions! I'd love Brandon to ask coach some of those sometime and actual report on them. Wasn't he visiting the forum for a while. Why doesn't he come on anymore? Yes he gets pummeled frequently, but at least he would be able to get some ideas that could help him become a better journalist.

Brandon posted this two months ago in the other topics section. I don't think very many people saw it. Lets all take the survey and tell him what kind of coverage we would like to see.

Hey WSU faithful,

I'm always looking to improve and am open to criticism and suggestions. With that in mind, I made a survey to get an idea of how I can be a better beat reporter for you, the Wildcat fan. Please take the time to complete the short survey, and share with your friends as well.

Thanks,

-Brandon Garside
