Griz football player faces drunken driving charge
http://missoulian.com/news/local/article_55835834-b3bf-11df-9891-001cc4c002e0.html

A Griz linebacker crashed into a fence drunk at 4:30AM.

Stuberg is the second Grizzly defensive player to face misdemeanor charges this month. Jimmy Wilson, a senior cornerback from San Diego, has pleaded not guilty to allegations that he bit a woman's leg in a crowded car at 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 6  in South Missoula. Wilson has requested a jury trial, which is scheduled for Nov. 23. A dispositional hearing is slated for Nov. 10.

Wilson, who was acquitted of murder charges last year in California and reinstated to the UM team in July, was indefinitely suspended for the assault charge when practice began Aug. 10. He returned to practice a week later.

Montana drinking and driving culture at crossroads

"Montana has long had a reputation as a place where you could crack open a beer while driving down the interstate just about as fast as you liked."

"Montana has long been tolerant of drivers who drink."

Sounds like the UM football players aren't the only ones drinking and driving in Montana. For our own safety, we all better stay off of the roads when the UM team and fans come to Ogden this year! Just another reason to dislike anything associated with the University of Montana.
