Bee writer Joe Davidson reports that Del Oro High and Sac State alum Brian Heath (TE-Long Snapper) has himself a rookie mini-camp invite from the Raiders for this weekend.

But this might not mean anything for Fleming with the Whiners. IIRC, they brought in Ray, and he was nothing more than a "camp arm." SF has a history of jerking guys around like that.

I assure you this certainly means something to Fleming. Even if you are invited to camp to just be a camp arm it is easier to get picked up by another team once you have already been in the system with another team.
