^^^and these are the jerks that everyone in the conference hates. I have met and have enjoyed talking with plenty of ewu fans. Everyone on this board was very nice and informative until the last few. Its funny that you say every teams fans come on here and say it. Well don't you think ot might really be happening? I have not made this up and I am sorry you feel like you have to puff your chest and think ewu fans would never do it. My point was, a few bad apples ruined my last trip. I have seen a few bad apples in Missoula, Bozeman, flagstaff and Ogden, as well as JMU, App.st, and others. My point was that I didn't believe all your fans behave like this, however it is the reputation in the bigsky and now with the shsu incident, the country of fcs fans. I will be returning this Nov. And am looking forward to meeting more great ewu fans and see some good football. Stay classy. If you ever need help in Missoula PM and I'll do the best I can.

 Seriously dude?! I've been nothing but civil to you in this topic and explained that I hoped you had a much better experience this time around than the last time you visited and now all the sudden I'm a jerk that everyone else in the conference hates? I simply pointed out the experiences that I've witnessed, and pointed out that it seems to happen everywhere and apparently that was too much for you to handle.

Holy crap... :ohno:

Maybe that a why I said "everyone was nice and informative until the last few" you guys are trying to say I'm here to bitch about ewu. I was on here trying to justify returning and showing my friends it was a one time thing. But maybe I'm wrong and you all are just so cocky and full of Vernon Adams d*CK that you cant see that I wad trying to help ewus image.

I don't know what you were expecting. You can't ask favors while spitting in someone's face at the same time. And now you've made yourself out as an unoriginal cunt. GTFO

As Lorenzo Ice-T would say "talk shit, get shot."

You don't start a request with total disrespect, and then ask a favor. Keep in mind, nearly everyone on this board is of the die-hard variety and hits a few road games. And everyone on here probably has a story about how someone was rude, hostile, etc. Those things happen; it is what it is. I can guarantee with 100% certainty that Eastern is nowhere near the bad end of that spectrum. Try wearing opposing colors at Autzen Stadium sometime; there's a reason that is often called the rudest environment in college football.

I hope you have a better experience when you come for this year's game, but you may want to work on your approach some when posting on an opponent's board.

Actually I did when the griz played them and it was a very good time. I had people buying me drinks and asking if o needed anything that night after the game. All I know is o have never been treated as poorly as ewu. I get your a die hard so am I. Doesn't mean you guys have to a ass and think I was trying to be rude.

Dopa, don't confuse mtgriz with the Oregon comparison ... You are probably thinking of the Autzen crowd that is actually geared up for a football game not a beat down as they were accustomed to putting on UM. Of course they were gracious and friendly to the Griz fans, no reason to be hostile to fans who's team you're about to humiliate.

Touché, Hannah, touché!

I saw a guy at Autzen try to piss on a Wazzu fan. No joke, unzipped his pants and let fly. And the people around him cheered it on. The whole damn section smelled like piss afterwards. Classy bunch.

Not surprising in the least. I've heard several stories horror stores about Autzen stadium and it's fans. From batteries being thrown at opposing fans, to a vehicle being spray painted on in the parking lot because it had UW Husky garb on it. Duck fans are consistantly voted the worst in the Pac 12.

In all honesty I think we get bought out of this game. Especially if they make it into the final four. They might be a little stressed about how it will look to the voters with either a loss :o or a close game like we had vs. UW :thumb:.

Go Eags!

Pretty sure they bought out MSU a couple of years ago, I wouldn't be surprised to see it bought out either. We can then go play Idaho again for the easy W...

I've been predicting a buyout for a while now. I hope not. I hate the ducks and would love having our team take a shot at them.

For reference, because I don't know the contract figures, but I suspect Eastern is getting paid in the neighborhood of $500k for this game, maybe $50k less but certainly in that ballpark. The buyout is usually half of the payout, so Eastern would get $225 - $250k if Oregon moved away from the game. I seriously doubt they'll buy it out unless they get offered some sort of prime billing game at home. But it would be very nice for Eastern to catch a paycheck without having to play the game.

I want to say they bought us out in 2010, which is why we played the Nevada game. Maybe it was Oregon State, one of the two.

It was Oregon State. They got offered the ABC Game of the Week slot (which I don't think exists anymore) to play TCU at Cowboy Stadium for something like $1.8mm. TCU was coming off a BCS-bowl season.

That's the kind of thing that would have to open up for Oregon to buy us out. However, I don't think Oregon would buy us out for a neutral or quasi-neutral site game.
