Any Possibilities of Landing an Impact Transfer?

Probably won't happen, although the announcement of Angel Nunez possibly transferring next year from Gonzaga, caused me to imagine how cool it would be to land an impact transfer like him. If Nunez graduates this year he would be eligible to play immediately next year for the team he transfers to. With the recent success of the program, Eastern could be a landing spot for some big time transfers and J.C. Recruits, not to mention higher rated high school recruits signing with Eastern.

Hmm, where did you hear Angel Nunez was transferring? I saw he was granted a fifth year, but no where have I see he is transferring away from Gonzaga.

Sorry but this is a pipe dream....why would you want to go from a top 5 team to a who knows if they will make the tournament team?
I hate GU just as much as most people on this board, but the reality is they go to the Big Dance Year after year and we are one and done for the last 20ish. I am pumped about our youth and do not want a hired gun...keep bringing in the youngsters and developing them...and continued success will happen!

I believe the rule requires that the school the student transfers too must offer a graduate program not available at the original school. Is there a graduate program at EWU that is not offered at Gonzaga?

I don't think Nunez will be heading to EWU, but who knows... transferring from a place where you don't get to play to one where you could be a Conference leader / POY candidate has to be at least somewhat tempting.
