I did some reading on the center from Cal and it it doubtful that this is the player that "eagle fanatic" is referring to. Cochran was dismissed from Cal after spring practices but the news only came out a couple of days ago. You'd think from springtime until now he would have had more than enough time to find somewhere else to play football. If he was coming to Eastern he'd be on the roster by now. Its got to be someone else.

The player I referenced earlier hasn't been mentioned in this thread. He has several options available to him so this certainly isn't a done deal. I just wanted to let people know to be on the lookout, sorry if anyone thought otherwise.

I think some of them just sign financial aid agreements if there aren't any scholarships available with the understanding that they can compete for one in the future. Every players situation is probably a little different, though.

I don't know any more than anyone else on this topic, but with less than three weeks left until opening day, adding a transfer player to the roster seems unlikely. But never say never, I guess.

We lost a few Players, we are now down to 95 Players, #54 Albert Haveli will be Redshirting, he told me his injury didn't heal all the way. We have two Transfers that I know of from WSU K/P Jordan Descalo, this young man can put some height and distance on the ball, a TE from Idaho, he has twin Sisters Playing Soccer for EWU. The latest Roster came out Aug 12th, 15. We have some outstanding Players that came in with the Recruits, that will make a big addition to the team. I think some of those recruits will be playing IMO, which opinions is like you know what? We all have one . Got to get some sleep so I can make the 3 p.m. practice tomorrow. Vic Wallace
