Any TV games for '08?

Anyone hear of any TV games for the upcoming season? We were going from 3-4 games televised regionally a year to 2 games last year (although 0 at home). I imagine the Big 10 channel will carry the opener, but that's it so far?

Altitude might pick up a game or two. I dont know what happened to the old deal where Altitude would televise 2 home game each year. Maybe we just suck too bad to get good ratings...

In '05 FSN also carried 2 home games, but I heard that we had to pay them for that, so I would not expect any more of those any time soon.

A while back I heard a rumor that the Greeley-Ft.Collins area was trying to get its own TV station started, so if that ever happens they might put some games up, especially since the Mtn West has its own TV channel.

Looks like the game vs ISU will be picked up. Why in the heck would Altitude have ISU in 3 of the 4 televised games? Why you would pick a cellar dweller like that makes no sense to me.

The old deal was signed before we were accepted into the BSC. Since the BSC has a contract already in place with Altitude, a separate deal with the school doesn't make sense.

As for ISU being on the tube four times, its probably because of an ease of setup situation. Sat truck comes out of Salt Lake City, I believe, and with limited space in all of the press boxes in the conference, it makes for a good place for Altitude to go. They've also spent a lot of marketing $$$ up there.

And Blofeld, you forgot that Idaho State is operating under an interim AD, after Paul Bubb was escorted from his office in April. Details have remained under wraps, but that helped push their womens basketball coach to move to Idaho instead.

They always televise the ISU game. For some reason though that game never draws well at Nottingham. I remember that game as always the lowest attended game, almost every time, which doesn't look good for TV viewers.

What about "The Big Ten Network" (btn) for the Purdue game? According to their website it's gonna be televised! Good thing I have Direct TV :)

I wouldn't be suprised if Jacksons grill in Greeley puts the game on against Purdue. They had a viewing party when we played Hawaii and it had a nice turnout.
