The old deal was signed before we were accepted into the BSC. Since the BSC has a contract already in place with Altitude, a separate deal with the school doesn't make sense.
As for ISU being on the tube four times, its probably because of an ease of setup situation. Sat truck comes out of Salt Lake City, I believe, and with limited space in all of the press boxes in the conference, it makes for a good place for Altitude to go. They've also spent a lot of marketing $$$ up there.
And Blofeld, you forgot that Idaho State is operating under an interim AD, after Paul Bubb was escorted from his office in April. Details have remained under wraps, but that helped push their womens basketball coach to move to Idaho instead.
