• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Simply click your profile name > account upgrades > BigSky Club > choose between the year long subscription (two free months) or month to month

Thanks for the continued support. Cheers!

Anyone interested in a new fan board?

I am thinking about putting a private Facebook page together for Bengal fans to congregate.

This would be a private invite-only forum where we could discuss anything we want. This would require that we all use our real names. That way you would have to own what you put on the board.

All forms of debate would be welcome. Team kudos and criticism would free flow--but we would own it. We would also have a live messenger chat option for members of the community to be on during games. Fans chatting with fans live.

Pictures could be posted, links to articles could be posted, video could be posted, etc. The possibilities are endless.

I want this to be something that we can all enjoy and be proud of. I miss the days of having a fan site that people really wanted to be a part of.

If we have enough interest, I will work on this. If not, I am not doing it. Who is in? Email address below.

I am actually working on an online message board that will be accessible through an IPhone/Android app. I think this would be best because some posters do not want to create a FB account.

I appreciate the response via email and PM. I hear all of you loud and clear :)

I sent you an email.

Facebook or anything else is good for me. I think there's pros and cons for both.

A level of of anonymity always gives some more courage than they'd normally have, and it gives some a freedom to spout outlandish stuff. On the other hand, I don't blame some for wanting to be anonymous. Example - a family member of a student athlete who might want to vent about a game plan or a coach. They don't have to worry too much about any retribution to their kid for something they may have said, unless of course the moderator of the board works for the athletic department and can see email and IP addresses. ;)

Whatever you explore, I'll probably follow.

Idaho State employees will not moderate. I will. We will also institute a panel to handle problematic posters. This won’t be intended to suppress opinions at all. But it will weed out some of the issues that plague this board.

It will no doubt have problems of it’s own. I recognize this. It may work it may not. But I am going to take the chance. If it falls flat—folks can fall back here if it works best for them.

I am betting on myself and I am fine with success or failure.

Please notice the Shout Box feature on the bottoms of the page on the new site. This will allow fans to chat in real-time during games. Take it for a test drive.

This new site is also accessible via the Tapatalk
I-Phone or Android application. This application is very handy and you can post on threads and handle PM’s without having to login to a website. It has a little bit of a learning curve but it is nice to have an application that sends a notification to your phone.

Join us at the bottom of the page for ShoutCast (live chat) during the game tonight.
