This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.
With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile. -

Anyone interested in a new fan board? Why the change? Why not take over as the moderator if PBP no longer wants to be the moderator?

It would appear the new fan board BengalBlitz will eliminate the BengalDen and replace the BengalDen. There seems to be no more interest in the BengalDen as most posters have jumped ship to BengalBlitz. PBP ?

I guess the BengalBlitz administrator and moderator did not like this board so started his own website. I hope it works for him.

FWIW, I did a tally for the period Sept. 1 to today. Two and a half months of football season(74 topics/436 replies) and two months of post season(eight topics/48 replies). 46 posters on Bengal Den, ten others wanting a new site. I wouldn't say this site is dead. In hibernation during the off season, yes. Food for thought.

Otis - The majority of posters switched over to the other site. Bengalcub wanted his own site so he could be the administrator and moderator. His site has been more active compared to this site since the season ended. Bengalcub did not like this site anymore so developed his own site. Good for him. You will not see much activity on this site anymore as most everybody made the switch. I did not make the switch.
If Bengalcub wanted to be an administrator of this site, he could of just asked and I would have happily set that up. I was asked to help create this site way back when and I've done so and maintain it to allow Bengal fans to have a place to chat. The site is and will be run by you fans, I just do the back end stuff (software updating, pay for hosting, etc) to keep it going.

Sorry, Chris, the 'fans', what few there were, are gone. This site, has been run by the 'fans' right into the ground. Maybe it isn't the form for the clientele of Pocatello and SE Idaho. Maybe a lot of things. Things went from bad to worse when Cub went off on his own, and took a good amount of posters with him. Kinda like Alpha starting MaroonBlood. A flop. This site never had the appeal of eGriz, a very successful site with over 1.3 million posts(vs 30K on Bengal Den). Lets put Bengal Den to music, and to rest: "Turn out the lights, the partys over, They say all good things must end, Call it a night, the partys over, and tomorrow starts the same old thing again." Only, its over. Bye.

Chris - Bengalcub did not want to be the administrator or Moderator to this site. He wanted his own site and wanted to have complete control to his site as he is the administrator and moderator. He advertised his site here on Bengals Den and will continue advertising his site on this site. If you are ok with losing more fans on this site it is probably a good idea to close the door.
