897 for '09, which was an increase over past years but still far short of the minimum 925. What give, I thought Sperbeck was running a disciplined program and classroom is definately part of the equation.

Remember the APR is over a 4 year period I believe. I think this score reflects a lot of the dead wood still that Sperbeck got rid of during his first year. Look at it again at the dates...Patience GCM...

SHA, you're right. This report is still counting all the drop outs and flunkies from the Moosh Era. And I think there's a year delay so technically this report is 2 years Moosh, 2 years Sperbeck. So, it will be another two years before it's all Sperbeck data I believe.

NCAA Division I 2007 - 2008 Academic Progress Rate
Public Report
Institution: California State University, Sacramento Date of Report: 05/01/2009

This report is based on NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) data submitted by the institution for the 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, and 2007-08 academic years.

Sperbeck's first season was the fall of 2007, so this is three year Mooshagian's and one year Sperbeck's.

It also states that we are allowed 62 scholarships, so we are only being penalized one scholly. That sounds like progress to me.
