POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State football program will not receive any APR penalties for the 2012-13 school year. The NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved a recommendation that would allow limited-resource institutions to transition to the NCAA Division I benchmark of 930.

That is amazing. Kramer deserves a tremendous amount of credit for his commitment to academics, regardless of what happens on the field. Fortunately, I think that success on the field will naturally follow from the discipline and focus which the players and coaching staff have exhibited in making this turnaround.

Tingey also need to be commended for recognizing what needed to be done, and for having the courage to follow through with the decision he made.
