Around the FCS 11/1

I'm hoping UNI can beat Illinois State today in the MVFC. Also hoping CP can take down MSU. It sucks needing help from other teams. Stupid NAU.

NDSU 6 SDSU 10 going into halftime.
Am I off the hook or do I have to wait till the game is over?

Also Ass kicking in PULLMAN . . . no shocker there :ugeek:

Refs are doing a lot of favors for MSU. PI no call, Absurd PI against Poly, and an absurd showboating call which erased a mustang touchdown.

I'm pretty sure they blew that call. Seems like the penalty should have been enforced on the kickoff...I've never seen points taken off of the board for ones of those.

Did I miss something? The RB was high stepping into the end zone and they called back the touchdown? That might be the worst call I have ever seen. Is that considered taunting?

It is. Apparently it was the correct call to take the TD off the board for that infraction, but the part that seemed incorrect to me was where they spotted the ball after they took the points away. He got a first down prior to the "high-step" infraction. Should have been 1st down and 15 or whatever, but instead it was 4th down and like 19. Bad call.

Even if this was the right call by the rulebook, it really is something the NCAA should change. You shouldn't erase a touchdown, unless the offense was doing something against the rules which could prevent the defense from stopping the touchdown. Period. Hurting the other teams feelings shouldn't be an infraction that makes or breaks a game.
