This was coaches main theme of the post game on Saturday. I agree with him 100%. But how can coach expect them to be tough after:
We played 3 non D1 patsies
We played the softest OOC schedule in the Big Sky
We havent played outside of Utah in over a month.
This probably wasnt the right time for the exrended holiday break.
Two of the tougher players from last years team were counseled out.
Our new bigs to the program dont play tough/physical ball. They would rather shoot threes.
The discpline that early Rahe teams showed isnt there.
There appears to be a program wide lack of accountability.
To be a "tough" team you have to do things that "tough" teams do. Toughness starts with the attitude of the coaching staff. Sorry coach, part of this is on you. I wanted to see the fire you showed in the post game during the game.
