Athletic Facilities

Wood indicated there was a donor(s) that he can't divulge yet. So it will be more than $100 mil. Probably some naming rights, etc. I still contend that the Wilton Rancheria purchase of the Sac Republic threw a wrench in our stadium plans. They were lining up to be major partners.

The full bowl does appear to be out. But dropping the field 15-20 feet would allow for some seating in the footprint of the track.
I am sure the water table from the American isnt below 15-20 feet. That whole area is alluvial flood plain that had a dike built around the river to contain it.

$100M from the school, rest is donors/private.

Fan experience bar none? Bidets? Full seat backs for all 25K seats? Topless only ticket office?

I haven’t heard of this stadium design has any future upgradability to add capacity if needed in 10 yrs for example?

Add another deck level someplace?

Would be nice to pour a good enough foundation to enable an addition versus being maxed out?

Truthfully. A nicely equipped 25K seated stadium that is modern and functional is awesome!!!

Yes… Sac Republic I suggested to some people should work with SAC ST build awesome stadium they can use until future date that they get MLS call up!

Then they build state of the art MLS stadium at the rail yards! The stadium they proposed is nice but it’s not MLS level in my opinion.

Would be great synchronicity if the timing worked for everybody

When Dr. Wood says there are budget cuts but his #1 item that won't be impacted is a new stadium without a track:

Hard to take any state funding shortfall discussions seriously when this state wastes so much money on illegals and other wasteful programs and poor policies that inhibit the economy.
