Athletic Facilities

I feel that they will announce the new 70,000 seat stadium at the same time they are announcing that they are going independent FBS and leaving the BSC. It only stands to reason. Probably an announcement next week, the way it sounds.

Also you can fill out the survey. It’s free. It might take a half hour. But considering you don’t do anything. I think you can fit that in.
 
I don't have a source on this, but it looks like Folsom Hall is the new Coaching Office/Player's Lounge area we heard being discussed as a possible addendum to the Broad a couple years back.

While it's literally on the opposite side of campus, it's not a bad move to do a big time proper renovation for offices and players to have year-round resources (locker room, weight room, and some meeting rooms will still be allocated in the Broad I'd guess). And, it makes sense with the stadium renovation moving forward now. I would love to see some of the renderings, but hopefully this is something that drops jaws when recruits walk in!

Appears to me the place in Folsom will be a great place for team unity. Hang out / Team Chill zone.

Yes…also has resources to allow them to do things without going all the way to broad facility.

Exactly right, SD. While consensus says that the most evil number in the universe is 666, the second most evil number is 1040 and the third most evil is 540. Can't talk too loudly about that, though, or we'll get a visit from Irwin R. Schyster....

Major money needs to come from local businesses, city of SAC, Restaurants like Cam Skattebo had a deal w local place in AZ called burrito express. The players would create a burrito with their name and get $ based upon sales.

Steve pizza, Peet’s coffee, etc other SAC Area restaurants need to get involved.

How could they possibly have a Skat Burrito? We didn't even miss him when he left here....We had Fulcher and Tolliver just absolutely fill up the stat sheet in '23...as a result we went from 12-1 to 8-5 overall and 8-0 to 4-4 in BSC.....a real step up in the eyes of Stevie Wonder and SDHornet....
