Attendance?

We've spent a fair amount of time predicting the score, but what about the attendace? My guess is if the Hornets would have opened the season at home we would be looking at around 12k. But now that they're 0-2, and they haven't looked good, my guess is attendance will be around 9k.

Thoughts?
 
A win at CP would've boosted the interest and attendance to at or near 10K... I'm going to guess 7,549 (down because of the 100-degree temps...)
 
It’s EWU, their fans don’t travel, no one in Sac cares about EWU, and Sac State is 0-2. Less than 6k shows up. :roll:
 
Only 60% of our crew is showing up. So if the early prediction said 10 to 12K, then I would say based on our attendance decrease of 40% there are going to be approximately 6600 people in attendance.

I hope I am wrong and there are more.

Yahoo has an attendance of 10,175 for the game. My prediction of less than 6k was completely terrible. No way this many people come out for a non-Causeway again if the Hornet defense can't stop anyone. :oops:

Really, 56 points. To a coach who is your junior. Baldwin has only been at EWU two years, Baiz at Sac for 16 years. Nicholls is good and experienced, but 56 points, ouch.

Coach Baldwin took over a team that had gone deep in the playoffs the year before. Coach Sperbeck took over Moosh's mess without much talent, big difference. It is up to Coach Sperbeck to evaluate all the assistants and if they are not producing replace them. IMO that was one of Coach Volek's weaknesses, staying loyal to assistants that were not hacking it and it eventually cost him his job.

Mulitalo, Hickman, Brannon, Washington, Navar. I am not a Moosh advocate, but the cupboard was not bare. The only mess overall is the same mess we are still in now.
 
GCM: Washington was never on Moosh's team. And Navar came in as a TE before moving to OT. And Hickman came from Foothill JC with Sperbeck.
 
The student section looked pretty good, I was surprised to see that many at the game. I got tto the parking lot three hours before the game and the tailgating looked like it had been going on for a while.

I also noticed a club giving out green t-shirts to students, I thought that was an excellent move by ASI, there were tons of students that didnt have any green on at all!

10,175 is pretty darn good against EWU, too bad we didnt get the W.
