Attendance

Wa Griz and it's fans are flat out awesome. Always have a great time before, during, and after the game... Win or lose. I will be at Reds, the Rhino, and the Mo Club this Friday and Saturday wearing my EWU colors...and will find it hard to buy a drink.

where is everyone sitting?

If you got your tickets through EWU, you'll be sitting on the west side, about the 15 yard line, above your bench. They're actually very good visitors' seats. I've never quite figured out why UM allots those to the visitors, because they could be prime $450 season ticket seats.

kalm,
I haven't been to Griz Stadium since 2005, when my health problems began. I agree with you, the Griz fans are very great fans. I remembered when we arrived on our Chartered Bus, they would hold up their beer cans, always said "this beer is for you, and good luck" and invite us to have a drink with them. . We are going to be alright. Honestly, my only concern(s) when we did travel to Griz Stadium, the Officiating was bad, it is about time the Big Sky Officials call the game way it should be called. IMO, seems like the Officials are scared to make the calls there at Griz Stadium, especially, against the Griz, hope things have changed by now. I will have to wait and see, before I change my mind. I did set my DVR last night, I have Directv, and the game will be televised on Audience Chan #101, which is one of Root Stations. Look for #38, Todd Raynes, and #21 Bo Schuetzle, on Special Teams, they are like two Patriot Missiles on Special Teams, once they lock on you, your butt is in trouble. ;) Don't want to say much about our team, they looked fantastic, injury bug seems like it is gone away, just waiting for who will be making the trip. NOTE: I am planning for the DL, and some defensive Players at my residence for a good "SOUL MEAL" and Big Andru Pulu is heading the eaters, for about 25 Players, already checked with Compliance Big Wig, to make sure we are in compliance with NCAA Rules and Bylaws. "GOD LUCK TO ALL, come back home safely. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: "Good morning"

Unless there is a big change this year we'll be sitting in the south end zone and corner sections 111, 112, 114. http://www.umt.edu/griztix/Maps/fbjpegformapview_000.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
These have been the tickets issued by Eastern for the last 4 trips to Msla. Same lousy seats as visiting teams get everywhere. One good result precipitated by Chaves is we now get more than in the past. He started only giving Montana the same number of tickets as they allocate to visiting teams and that move seems to have prompted the Griz to increase allotment to visiting teams.
My best advice is to record the game so you can see what happened when you get home.

Well, we're both actually correct. The first 500 tickets allotted to visitors are in section 103. They are though, often given by the visiting university to parents of players, administrators, etc. Overflow will be in the SEZ because it's basically the only section of the stadium that isn't season ticket seats.

The view from there isn't bad. You can see the game well. What you don't get is the large video screen, replays, etc.

UM also gave EWU more than the normal allotment of tickets this year and it appears EWU has used all of them and more...

I'm planning to head over to Montana for the game. This is my first time going to watch a game in washington grizzly stadium is it nice? I've heard it can fit up to 26,000 in it that is pretty impressive for an Team in the FCS.

eaglenation, dont let some of the theads on this site deter you, I have always had a good time in missoula whether we won the game or lost it. sure I have run into some "undesirables" during my various trips there but overall we've been treated pretty well.

Yeah, well...I'm in the military so that probably won't help much. Thanks, though. ;)

Keep up the great work, Vic!

2005 was my first year going to Missoula. I was near the outside of the NEZ when the team buses arrived, so I probably saw you. That trip to Missoula was the best, had a great time. Been there each time since, and bummed that this will be the first time I can't make it.

Guess it was back in 2003 when I attended 1st game in Missoula. It was a great time(except the score). The tailgating was first cabin. Wore EWU gear and had enough food and drink from the Grizz fans who were more than friendly and welcoming. From that time till now always wished we could have that in Cheney. We are getting there to be sure!

Every time I think of WAGrizz stadium the fondest memory was, as the team was boarding the bus home, several Grizz fans were outside jeering the team as they got on. For the most part kind of funny especially one of who stood out above the rest. Looking rather disheveled and most definitely wasted from drink he was yelling his heart out at the players louder and louder with each newfound verse. All of a sudden he projectile vomited covering one leg of his pants and shoe. I mention shoe as he had but one on at the time. Of course this did not deter him from continuing singing his praises with the Grizz fight song. We did see him as we left town hobbling down the street, one shoe on one shoe off. I have to say that to this day I have wondered what ever became of that one lost soul...not him but the shoe.

Observer/SE-174,
Those were the days I really enjoyed going to WA Griz Stadium. Remember we would stop at Silver Dollar (I think) take our break, our late friend Tony Carpini would come into the rest room and ask, "Vic is the water Cold?, I would reply yes, and "DEEP Also!    , we then would laugh until we almost got to Missoula. I think of Tony and more when we have those trips, even if I am not going on those trips. Missed practice yesterday, got 3 dishes of M/C completed, two dishes of Ribs completed. EWUmomma surely helped me with my cooking, she would bring in her stuff from Colorado frozen, now she have me freezing once I cook, and makes it a lot easier. "THANKS LADY!!! Men Basketball will be here on Nov 3rd @ 4pm, supposedly Nov 7th DL should be here if Coaches go along with the Players date and time, they will make the final decision. Will be at practice today if "God Permits, since our team should be leaving on Friday, not sure as yet. Good Luck to All, Friends and Foe, enjoy an "OUTSTANDING GAME", return to your homes, etc safely, may the better team "WIN" Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace p.s. Got my letters completed for "REQUEST OF OCCASIONAL MEAL" for Athletes, just have to turn them today. Good morning. Vic
