I wasn't at the Mayville game, but the crowd excitement level, and crowd noise was awful at the SUU & first half of the SJSU games. The music sucks, way too much dead space...

Based off of the music dj's past comments "JOE STRAND" The joker & the thief is saved for a few end of close game situatuions during the season. This is bull sh*t....

I propose the song be played at the beginning of every game & it will still be fine to use it those 2 or 3 times at the end of a close game during the season.

They have got to do something to bring some excitement in the air at the beginning of the games... You never know it might last the entire game.........

Who thinks we can get joker played at the beginning of tomorrow nights game.....

I'm really getting sick of the poor atmosphere at games. After taking a couple of steady steps forward, it seems, that the administration has takent two giants steps back. I don't quite understand, as someone else said on this board, how an idividual involved with the university can be RIGHT, when he is continuously insulting and fighting with fans. This is not the way to develop a fan base!! Director Bovee, get a grip over your department and realize there is some awful stuff affecting fan attendance and support. Jumping Joe Strand needs to be set out to pasture as the DJ. I will admit, he probably does a decent job with the Dee, but as the DJ he needs to go. Good HELL, I mean, we have to listen to his stupid Cotton Eye Joe song every game. ITs MORONIC and insulting to the fans who know that there is so much more potential going to waste. PLEASE RETIRE JOE from the DJ spot.

I am all in favor of Thief or any other song that sounds good and has an upbeat sound to it but for hells sake this Cotton Eye Joe song has got to go. That song has got to be the worst, stupid, lousy, in bread song i think i have ever heard at a Weber game either basketball or football in my life. I cant believe they have been playing it as long as they have. Well now, i feel better.
