BIG SKY AVG. HOME ATTENDANCE

UM 23,499
MSU 12,697
ISU 7,436
EWU 7,116
PSU 7,071
NAU 6,609
WSU 5,996

UNC 4,810

We seriously need to do better at bringing more friends and neighbors to more games.

I agree, the local fans missed some excellent home games last year. Hopefully the team will be improved this year and draw better crowds. I attended the game at Montana State last year and it was a great game day experience with a near sell out crowd.

Why don't they start listening to Bob when he said that they should start giving tickets away. It would be a way to start getting more fans and when we start winning raise the price a dollar per win. In my opinion Weber can only blame themselves for their poor attendance and lack of marketing. But it is shameful that so many alumni don't come to the games, i think most of Weber county residence with degrees got them from Weber I say give them tickets to a couple of games. Weber St should and could have a full house in both football and bball but if will take some stuff like that to make it start to happen.

Thats a good idea. It's not like the school would be missing out by leaving all the empty seats empty...

Our AD Jerry gets RATHER defensive when you say anything bad about his buddies in our marketing dept. And especially if you mention giving away tickets.

It's funny how the average attendance is practically what the standings end up looking like. Goes to show you how important the "12th man" on the field's role is. The only discrepancy is ISU. Good attendance even though they don't win, probably because it's either go to the football game, or grow potatoes. Let's get out and support the Cats!

Between Coach Mac, QB J. Barnes, and RB T. Smith we have all the reasons we need to watch the Cats this year, they are going to be exciting to watch so bring your friends and families and do some tailgating this year.

I agree that we should all do all we can to bring more freinds and neighbors to the games, but I also think it's time for our marketing dept. to get off their back sides and start doing something to earn the paycheck that they are getting.

How many Wildcat fans are planning to come to Boise? It looks like almost 6K fans at home last year for you. Be prepared for 30K blue and/or orange clad fans joining you in Boise.

Good luck, travel safe and have fun! Game day is right around the corner!
