Aziz Leeks: Snow

Tal;

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here. I believe that they will be looking at 4/5 players this summer, as well as the dynamic big guard. I believe that they would take a quality big man any time they could get one. On the flip side, we are now deeper at 4/5 than we have been in the past. The three new players you mention are all 3 star guys. Yes they are young, with no D1 experience, but so what, they are of good quality.

I think they will spend the whole summer evaluating, talking, evaluating what we already have and how they are developing. At the end of the summer, they will have narrowed their list to four or five targets. One or two of those targets will be big men. We will then sign one or two of them, depending on how our current players are progressing. Of course, I only expect us to sign one. There is a 99.9% chance that it will not be Aziz. :rockon:

Fans jumped on this, not because Leeks was a great player, it's just how crazy Tal is in even thinking about the chances of bringing him back! Usually Tal is pretty strong in posting on the forum, but this one was a reach.... A long reach! The season was long and painful and we got beat so many different ways. Let's get back on track by making the team better, not bringing back practice players with scholarships we don't have! :rofl:
13=13 is correct........ We need to get back on the winning track!

LOOOOOL Meow!! I like your posts too and I appreciate your input.

Okay okay okay...YES I get it. The original post was a off track. I have already admitted that in subsequent posts on this thread and said that I do not condone the active recruitment of Leeks. I merely said he is a player to keep an eye on. Yet, after the total bust of our 2 JUCO transfers this season, I'm COMPLETELY a fan of recruiting only high school bigs. Besides, we get them for four years, possibly 5. That is a far better arrangement. Olds highlighted why none of us should be that concerned about depth because of the talent of our incoming and current bigs. Another 3/2.5 star high school big who could sit would be a great get this fall.
