Found this link on an e-griz.com topic regarding their next football opponent - Stephen F. Austin.
I'll readily and honestly admit that I've thought that Louie is somewhat of a "lacking" mascot on NAU's part at times. After seeing SFA's Lumberjack (yes....they have the same mascot name) mascot I feel pretty darned good about Louie. At least the papier mache head from days of yore is gone.
