Basketball Players who should be in Hall of Fame

Automatically I can't understand why Richard Smith isn't a member of Weber State's Hall of Fame, huh? Really?? Also, Bob Davis, Reuben Nembhard, Tom Heywood, and Shawn Campbell.

Honestly, I think it is an absolutely idiotic that Richard Smith hasn't been inducted yet into the Hall of Fame. Mattos, Collins and Johnson are all members of the Hall and he hasn't been inducted yet. What is Weber State waiting for?

I agree. It is really stupid of Weber that they haven't inducted Richard Smith yet.

What is even worse though is that Weber hasn't retired Willie's jersey. WTF!! Come on Weber get er' done!

i would assume all these guys you listed are already in the hall but i can go check next time im at the dee. i think they are listed though on the wsu site. lets go take a look and paste the list in this thread.

You Bengalhater.

It is a shame that Reuben Nembhard isn't in the Hall. He was a stud back in those years that he played. I was younger during his playing days so i don't remember much but one thing i do remember is him and Kirk Smith. He made that much of an impression on a kid not even 10 yet.

Yeah, Reuben seems like he should be an automatic inductee to me, but whatever. I guess the 79-72 win over Michigan State isn't very note worthy.

Ruben is an all-time great Wildcat. the below stats are that much more impressive knowing he was a 'cat for only 2 seasons.

-1 of just 7 WSU big sky mvp's (1995)
-1 of just 16 WSU big sky 2 time 1st teamers (94, 95)
-#3 in wsu history for steals average with 2.02
-2 time big sky champions, 1994 and 1995
-1995 ncaa first round win over 3 seed michigan st and 2nd round loss at buzzer to georgetown

He was a JC transfer from Paris Junior College. ruben played for the Portland Trail Blazers and the Utah Jazz. according to this site, he still is playing pro bball at age 40 - http://www.gaiterosdelzuliabbc.com/?page_id=6

there must be one reason he is not in the wsu hall of fame - he hasnt had time to make it back to wsu...yet. (hopefully that is the reason)
