• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

I can't say all is bad for the Bears. The defense has been the only bright spot for them over the years. If it weren't for the defense the majority of these games would not only be boring but would be blowouts. Atleast the defense gives the team a chance to win even though the offense blows it every week. Supposedly the Bears have the top secondary and are one of the best defenses in the Big Sky. The offense on the other hand has just never been able to get it together. With Downing being a former tight ends coach and the offensive coordinator having 100 years of coaching experience, and with a QB from Florida you would think the offense would be a lot better. Do you think just firing Downing and the O-cooridinator would make a difference?

Head coaches usually get to decide who their coordinators/assistants are, at least initially. I think it would handicap any search for a head coach by dictating ahead of time who his coordinators would be. I would think that Deti could apply for his job under a new head coach and make a strong case.
