Looks like Beau has offers from Army and Navy now...
I don’t think the Ivies give “athletic” schollies. But they probably have some other kind of aid packages that are “non-athletic” related. I agree, hard to see someone pass up an opportunity for that kind of an education.Kadeezy said:Well, I wish him well. Love to see local talent stay local and continue to build the program. But, it a 4.35 kid has a shot at an Ive League Education, you'd be nuts to pass on that.

bryceman said:I think its sad that a kid works his butt off in the weight room and people call him a juicer. I know Beau really well and he's a great kid that works hard. I personally see the workout program Coach Cooper puts these kids through for 4 yrs and it gets results. So I can almost guarantee the rumors are just jealous people talking.
Kadeezy said:But anonymously accusing a high schooler of using drugs is weak sauce. I think evaluating a player's performance is fair game, but steroid accusations can be extremely harmful. Hell, a recruiter will likely Google Beau's name and come across this thread. How fair is that? What does that say about us as fans?
Anyways... Off my soapbox.

bryceman said:Like I said I know Beau well I work at Granite bay in the football program. Beau is a great kid that works hard if I saw like a dramatic growth in size I would say yes but its been gradual. I try to talk him I to going to Sac state all the time. But he's more I to his education than football. He actually has said if he didn't get an offer he wouldn't play at all next year. Like I said before just a great kid.
