ISU women beat top seed MSU 52-50. Congrats, ladies! Juliet Jones makes her only shot, a trey, with two seconds left for the win.

....let's hear it Skippy. Lol. SLEEPER TEAM!!! (Sorry, I'm not right too often. I have to enjoy it)
BTW... that shot alone was worth the trip to Reno. Atta girl JJ!

I did not get to hear your call. I have seen the shot on Big Sky TV, but I want to hear your "kaboom" for the game winner. Any chance, you can post an audio link of your call?

Here is the YouTube link but it cannot be as good as Mark's call.

Here you go:

Just advance the cursor to the 2:20:00 mark.

Enjoy!

PBP, thanks but I seem to be getting a live feed of KISU at that link?

Never mind, I figured this out, waiting for your call!

Idaho State's Juliet Jones hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to end Montana State's season in heartbreak

Brilliant call PPB, the best kaboom of all time!

I agree with biobengal, ISU is a very good 9 seed, lots of close losses and bad luck (and some self-destruction) this year.

This is AWESOME! Seton's reaction is priceless!

SportsCenter Top 10?

I understand from the players that SportsCenter actually led the show with JJ's shot earlier in the day. Also this link shows the video via Big Sky TV towards the top and my radio call of the shot near the bottom of the page.

"Revenge is a dish best served cold."

Jones' shot is payback for Junkermeier's miracle shot that sent the game in Bozeman into overtime 11 days ago.

The only thing I didn't like about the article was the 'impression' (perhaps unintentional) that ISU is basically a bunch of thugs just hammering away at opponents.

Two can (and does) play that game. Payton Ferris for example, is an incredible player, Ferris also sticks her arm out and initiates physical contact on practically every drive she makes in a game. She should be called for numerous offensive fouls but she isn't.

It is what it is. Anyone who thinks Montana or North Dakota doesn't play a physical game is delusional for example. UM's been doing it for decades. In recent history Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington were among the most physical teams in the league.

Let's not shed any tears for MSU, they played hard, they played well. Fate simply wasn't on their side just like it wasn't on ISU's side 11 days ago. Was anybody shedding any tears for them that night? Or how about the six conference games they lost by a total of 12 points?

Yeah, that argument (there & on Bobcat Nation) didn't quite work. It'd be one thing if Idaho State was getting away with it, but they obviously weren't with a 26-16 foul deficit and 28 Bobcat free-throw attempts in the second half. Nobody's even talking about the end of this one if MSU shoots their usual 76% clip.

...but they didn't. And we are, and so is the entire conference and alot of the nation! Go Bengals!
