Bengals creeping closer to the Top 25

Idaho State nearly doubled its point total in the Stats FCS top 25 poll released today, going from 28 points last week to 54 this week. They are still in the "others category," but if they beat Idaho this week they'll have a great chance of breaking into next week's ratings. Just FYI, I voted the Bengals 24th this week, up one spot from where I had them last week after their big win over Northern Arizona.

It's great to see this team start the season with success. These boys worked their butts off in the off season and it's showing. We need to keep the ball rolling, keep our guys healthy and hopefully get better refs in the coming games. By watching Q4 alone you'd think the refs were trying to give NAU the game.

If we win this weekend, I would certainly hope we'd be in the top 25.

I would doubt it. A win is good but it would come vs 1 win Idaho. Not exactly a resume builder. Meanwhile there are teams in front of you like WIU, SD, ND, Chatt. that have much more impressive wins so far and are unlikely to lose this week. I think ISU is good don't get me wrong but I don't think this win gets you into the top 25. Now if you beat UCD..and I hope you do...that would be a big time win.
