I agree with Coach O'Brien, there needs to be a balance in scheduling. ISU needs the money games, but they also need some winnable home games along the way. Bringing in the three Utah schools has been fun, but next year we have to pay for it by going to their place. Hopefully they can balance that off with some lesser D-1 teams at home. As we found out this year, Pocatello does not really support non-conference games, even schools like Utah, which drew only 2,800. Hopefully Utah State, which seems to have a more ardent fan base, will bring a larger crowd on Dec. 20.
PS--According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Wisconsin Green Bay WILL be coming to Pocatello next year. That would be a good matchup, if true.
