Bengals to play a Heisman Candidate

Could be a long day for the Bengal defense on Saturday, ISU is visiting USU and a Heisman Candidate, probably for the first time ever.

After the beating that he took at Tennessee he is in no way worthy of a Heisman. USU is getting delusions of grandeur. Utah had a much better QB. I think that ISU will do just fine as long as they pay attention to detail and don't give up the big play.

Was very surprised at how poorly Utah State played Sunday night. I realize Tennessee is in the SEC but they are considered a mediocre SEC team that has had issues winning for the last five or six seasons.

Utah State was a top 25 pick in Sports Illustrated's college football preview.

Keeton's a helluva player. I remember watching him almost single-handedly take down Auburn a couple of years ago. I didn't see the USU-Tennessee game, but in reading the Salt Lake Tribune articles, it sounded like USU's newly-constructed O line (four new starters plus former Bengal Kevin Whimpey) was not up to the task on Saturday.

I think Idaho State can give the Aggies a decent game on Saturday, but Keeton has proven through his career he's a legit QB.

He's not now, not after his performance against UT. But he was a 'peripheral candidate" before the season started. A lot of the national media were talking about him as a "sleeper" -- just as they were talking about Utah State as a "sleeper" team. All of that went out the window in Knoxville.
