Bernstine to West Virginia??

Does anyone have any scoop on whether Mr. Bernstine has a chance for this job?

If the other two have "strong ties" to WVU, this probably doesn't merit much concern.

Even if he doesn't get it, is he looking to move on?

Sort of that Walsh interview at Idaho. While he didn't pull down that position, it was obvious that he was proabably going somewhere...

Read the entire article. He says that he gets contacted often regarding other jobs, but doesn't seem to take them too seriously.

I would hate to lose Bernstine and then have to deal with a President who didn't like athletics. Say what you will about Bernstine, he likes athletics.

I generally adhere to the "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" philosophy, and at least over the past couple months, it ain't broken. Hence, I'd be nervous about Dan departing.
