Best of the Big Sky: Ranking the Top 100 players

Do we know yet who they have as #1? Isn't this just numbers 81 to 100?

Just checked, he hasn't posted the next twenty. Don't know who will be number 1 but if it was a Griz, who would that be?

Hard to beat CK.

Cooper is more deserving. But it will be Prukop. It's a Montana paper and quarterbacks always win these kinds of competitions.

For that reason alone is why I was shocked to see CK named preseason MVP of the Big Sky. He definately deserves it. Just was a little surprised. Anyone know if there has ever been a winner who wasn't a RB or QB?

Yep. One thing that I think works in his favor though when you get into these discussions is that not only is he one of (if not the best) receiver in the FCS, he's also a standout specials teams guy.

I believe there were 3 players who won it and weren't a QB or RB. Idaho has 2 of them, a WR an OL. I believe the other was a kicker from Northern Arizona.

2nd installment (#80 -61)

72. JALEN MOORE, RB, JR., EASTERN WASHINGTON: Quincy Forte and Mario Brown combined for nearly 1,500 rushing yards last year, but both are gone. Moore filled in when Forte was hurt last year, rushing for 230 yards and three touchdowns in two of those games. Moore and fellow running back Jabari Wilson are next in line to handle the bulk of the carries with Jordan West at quarterback.

If they can stay healthy, Moore and Wilson should both have very productive seasons. I actually liked Moore's style of running the most out of all the backs that played last year. He runs very hard and is difficult to bring down once he gets into open space. His problem was obviously limited playing time last year do to injury and playing behind Forte and Brown.

We saw a glimpse of what Wilson could do in 2013 against Oregon State and then last season his breakout game against PSU once he finally got healthy enough to get into the rotation.

Behind what should be the best Offensive Line in the Big Sky, this should be a great year for our running backs.
