Best of the Big Sky: Ranking the Top 100 players

Not sure if I agree with Jordan West at #8. He will do great at EWU, but he is too unproven to be placed so high on this list.

QB's have a higher weighting IMO. He had four games last year and looked good. Surrounding cast is outstanding. Factor in coaching, getting most 1st team snaps in Spring and Fall and another year of maturity, #8 sounds about right. :-) It is a media guy's assessment and it tells me he doesn't want to underestimate the Eags at QB. Reload, reload, reload under Coach B. "Feuer und Bewegung"
 
I really like what I saw from West during the games he started in last year, but #8 seems high to me. The reason I say that is he has yet to win a big game. We got really lucky to have lost Vernon right before we played the easy portion of our schedule last year. I did think West looked fantastic against N. Dakota, but they are absolutely horrible. I trust the coaches completely but I'm just not ready to call West the man until I see more of him.
