Best Out of Conference wins

Besides our wins over North Carolina and Michigan State in the Big Dance, what are our best/favorite out of conference wins.

Here is my list:
79-80 vs Michigan State on a neutral court
79-80 @ New Mexico at the pit
94-95 vs BYU (BYU was an 8 seed that year)
01-02 vs LSU on neutral court in OT
01-02 vs Wisconsin on neutral court
01-02 @ Utah
11-12 vs. Utah (won by 29)
12-13 @ Dayton
12-13 @ Northern Iowa

What OOC games do you remember?

The North Carolina NCAA win was big.

The first game with USU in Logan was also big.

Hawaii in the NCAA tournament. I believe they were ranked fourth at the time.

Jud Heathcoat's Michigan team in the NCAA tournament.

Seems like there was another PAC10 team in there somewhere.

I would add '99 vs Utah, and ' 02-03 vs BYU. '96 at Fresno State, NC State at Great Alaska Shootout(93 or 94?)
2002 vs Nevada. Bracket buster vs UTA and at ORU.

After the two NCAA tourney wins (Mich St and UNC), I'd have to say, in the 20 years I've been following Wildcat Basketball, the LSU and Wisconsin wins at that tournament in Hawaii in the 2000-01 season were the best OOC wins. When you think about the team that pulled that off. Really impressive.

Weber's first two visits to Utah's Huntsman Center (first two games against the U). Both ended up being wins for the Cats. I know the Cats beat Texas Tech during the Abegglen era. Beating Long Beach in the 70s were very impressive wins, and beating Idaho at the Dee during their glory days (early 80s) are important wins too.

i think we have about 10 wins over ranked teams. i see maybe 5 from ur list. ill try and locate them.

The prospectus has all of our wins. There once was a site called Weberhoops that had some decent information, but some lazy cheap A$$ decided to let it die.

Is there even a doubt about the top ones? Beating Hawaii, New Mexico State, Michigan State, and UNC in the dance are the most important in my opinion. Oh, and to me it isn't that important, but it is something that happened too long ago, our last win in Logan. 20 years!!

We can end the drought in Logan next Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sure hope so but if they don't improve significantly from St. kathy's is could be more disappointment in Logan. Anyone else going?
