i was impressed seeing a big crowd at cp even though they haven't won a conf game yet. they still haven't even had homecoming

Could you imagine if Weber was 0-7? We'd be lucky to average 3000

I know this is :dead: but announced attendance is such horse :shit: . It's been well noted at both WSU football and basketball games the discrepancy between the definition of the word attendance and what's commonly reported. I watched the NAU@UM game on tape-delay and in no form of reality was there anywhere near 20K in attendance. I wish there was an real attendance number and another term used to represent potential attendance (i.e. tickets/vouchers doled out).

Montana State individual game attendance numbers always end in a 7
it goes back many years, some AD thought it was a lucky number or something.

Thats a cool tradition. Looking back on all the posts i see that each one ends in a 7 for MSU. Pretty neat

Attendance reporting has become an absolute joke everywhere. There are no clear standards. MSU even uses it to play some superstitious game. Are we to believe SUU averaged more fans than Weber? The SUU website says stadium capacity is 8,500, yet they report an average of 9,084. So every game is a sellout in Cedar with 500+ standing somewhere?

Safe to say these are the final 2017 Football attendance standings.

Pretty surprised SUU outdrew us. Even if we underreported the playoff game, I don’t think we underreported by 5k.

Having been at both playoff games, I am certain that the crowd at SUU was smaller than the crowd at WSU, but who is counting?
