Interesting. The Montana schools spending far more money on their programs yet on egriz the Montana faithful are using their paper route and lawn mowing money to try and upgrade their weight room. So, from an efficiency standpoint, the EAGS are by far the best "bang for the buck" in the BSC. Relative to to the BSC, the griz program is bloated, much like their fans on egriz.

I matched these figures with home average attendance figures from the 2012 season (couldn't find 2013). No big surprise the Montana schools have the biggest operating budgets but if you throw them out everyone else is pretty close. Probably the biggest surprise to me is Portland State low attendance number but has the biggest population base to draw from but that might also be their biggest hindrance. Too many other distractions. Pro soccer, pro basketball plus with OU and OSU right down the road PSU has a lot of competition. Something the Montana schools don't have to worry about.

What did help us get some of our Athletic Locker rooms, Weight Rooms, etc, we must remember Seattle Sea Hawks Training Camps were here for approximately 10 years, we got some uplift from their being here, we have done quite a bit with what little help we had. I remember in some days, everytime the University Budgets needed monies, then the cutting of budgets would go in process, and it seems as if everyone wanted to cut Athletic Budget, University Police Budgets, and many more, we really had to fight to maintain what we had. Things seemed as if they are a lot better now. Here is hoping so. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Sure hope we can get some more money towards our FB Coaches, they are doing a hell of a job for the program, for what little money they are making, and deserve more. Increased enrollment has been the biggest boost in revenue because a huge portion of the athletic dept budget comes directly from student's fees.

More students enrolled equals more money in the athletics budget. With record freshmen class numbers seemingly every, we are a lot healthier budget wise.
