Well, we get Sacramento State first round. Good chance to get our first win over them.

8:05pm start so I should be able to get home and watch it. :D :thumb:

Interesting score yesterday with Sac State beating Northern Colorado, even with four of their guards out with injury.

Vik game tonight. Blazers play tonight. Also, I found out I have a birthday party to go to tonight. Sheesh!!! Guess I'll find out if my 10 year old laptop still works.

Go Viks!!!

The place is packed by the way. :-\

Two-thirds of conference tournaments are played at the behest of ESPN in emptyish arenas for the benefit of ESPN and a bit of scratch for the conferences. All the conference does is try to pick a location while not offending said broadcaster in the process.

BTW, 2-3 of those conferences aren’t small.

The Big Sky would make things more interesting by popping a tent on the Bonneville Salt Flats or closer to the border gambling town of Wendover. It’d be closer to Ogden and unique enough that it MIGHT actually dr......

...eh, frack it. Make money from a gold mine and pay people to show up AND it still wouldn’t fill this place.

Great win finally over Sacramento State, 71-67. Viks first win of the year over the Hornets. Reigning frosh POY, Woods, scores the last 11 points for the Viks to secure the win. Viks play EWU in the late game on Thursday.

Please excuse my fascination as Weber is currently getting steamrolled by UNC.

Wow, I thought that would be a much closer game.

Hopefully Randy Rahe off somewhere crying.

Gallant effort up to the end, but the deficit was just too much to overcome. Viks get bounced out of the tournament 78-72. Had some chances at the end to make things interesting but just couldn't make shots. Viks certainly left everything on the court in the second half. Can't really ask for much more. This team never quit, even down 20 in the second half.
