That, unfortunately, is about right for now. We need to settle on a quarterback, as well as some other spots on both sides of the ball. How fast we can do all that will tell if we can contend this year. I'm using the Montana State game as a barometer for seeing how the season goes. If we are pretty much set by then, I think we'll be fine. But if we are still trying to find players, it will be a long season. I'm not sold on EWU, as I think they've lost quite a bit and I think they will drop some. I like North Dakota and Northern Arizona, and I think Montana State will surprise some this year.
That said, I'm beginning to like our chances next year. I think this year will be a year too early for us.
