Jon Reed the infamous Big Sky blogger has awoke from a long slumber and has started his team reports. He posted Easterns report yesterday. I think they may be a dark horse for Big Sky champ.

I do believe that Eastern has a lot of offensive firepower. They certainly did last year as well. However, I am not convinced that they can play together, as a team, defensively, or that they can show the discipline to overcome another teams good defense. They could end up in the top half of the league or they could implode. There are a couple of teams in the BSC like that this year. It's going to be interesting and wide, wide open. :coffee:

Good write up on ISU today. I agree with everything Jon had to say about them. They will beat a few teams this year, but are closer to the bottom than top of the BSC.

Good read. Thanks Jon. :thumb:

Good write up on MSU is out there now. Everyone has them in the bottom half of the conf. and that is to be expected. It's really hard to know what to expect out of a first year coach and his team. We've got a couple of brand new coaches and a few fairly new coaches in the league. There will always be a surprise or two, good or bad. :coffee:

Jon,

You do a great job with your blog and sizing up the teams in the league. As always awesome and thank you!
