Big Sky Roundup for September 11

Big win for PSU. If we don't get that win then the season would be looking grim.

NAU got an impressive result against ASU. Much more impressive than what PSU was able to muster.

Montana State choked. They should have beat Wazzu.

Loved seeing Montana lose. But this early in the season, the loss won't have to have much of an impact on their season.

Weber State and UNC played a tremendous game that went into OT.

The other games were unremarkable or I'm too lazy to check them out.

Any thoughts on this weekend 's games?

I think UNC looked pretty good. They seem to be making some strides in football.

Washington State is so bad. Too bad MSU blew the game.

Sac State looked unimpressive against D-II Western Oregon but we got the win, 31-17. Right now we are battling a serious bout with the injury bug. :x

Is your starting QB out?

According to the Sac Bee the first string QB is out for 4-6 weeks, replaced at the end of the Stanford game by 3rd string Fleming, who transfered to Sac State 2 weeks ago. Fleming played the game this week and did pretty well. He'll be the QB against Weber State. Sac is also going to be missing RE Perreira, a senior, but no one else that I've heard. Both Weber and Sac depend on passing, so the score should be high. But don't forget RB Hilliard. He was out all last year with injuries, but is back and did well on Saturday. He could put up big numbers. Sac could win this one, judging by Weber's performance last week.

Ugh. That's not good news on your starting QB.
