Winner to the NCAAs. Loser to the WNIT.

Hopefully my Lady Griz can pull it out this time since the Viks should be the favorite next year.

How about the Viks winning this year and next?!! Seriously, the Grizzlies are a very fine basketball team. It will be a huge hill for the Viks to climb but that's why the game is played. It would be a thrill to watch in person.

Lady Griz win 69-62.

Wow, that was one of the toughest, most physical games you'll ever see…

Good job PSU. Hope you do some damage in the WNIT, though the Big Sky hasn't exactly done well there.

I just finished watching the tape of the game...i hate to say it but there were some terrible calls and almost all of them went against PSU. I guess that is what you get when you earn the right to have the game played in your arena. In addition, they can't even get the statistics right.

They couldn't get the players' names right either, not just mispronounced but wrong name entirely...yes pretty physical, Kahle took some major hits with no calls, "no harm no foul" as they loved to say over and over and then we'd get the ticky tack call at the other end....Wade was a monster, I like her in there, game changer and gives an huge option for scoring when those 3's aren't falling.

An interesting stat to note that whenever we have played Montana and a player is 1-12,13,14 or some such number of low odds for 3's we lose. I think if they could work on ball movement and increased touches and develop the half court game a bit they would win those games. Almost every 3 that didn't fall went to Montana who then patiently waited for the best percentage shot (unless Rogers was hot-but that is her role). We have died by the 3 too many times, lack of patience and ball movement are our weaknesses I think, again you have to trust your team to get it done together and to be aware of who really has the hot hand....good luck with NIT ladies and congrats on getting there!
