Big Sky Tourney Format

with bball season about to start lets not forget about the conf tourney changes which started last season. it would be very awesome to see the new format in ogden!!!!!!!!

-reg season champ hosts conf tourney
-all games at host school
-7 of 11 teams qualify for conf tourney
-thursday-friday-saturday format (no longer tues-wed)

quarterfinal
2 vs 7
3 vs 6
4 vs 5

-field will be re-seeded after the first round

semifinal
1 vs lowest
highest 2 remaining seeds play each other

championship (espnu)

we lost espn2 on a wednesday night for saturday night on espnu. i think thats a good trade.

weber has only missed the big sky tourney once (2006) since 1981. weber has hosted the conf tourney the most of any team.

Yes! It would be very awesome to get the renewed format back in Ogden like it used to be in the "good old days." It sucked when they changed to having the "play-in" games (so to speak) at other schools. At any rate, the tourney needs to come back to Ogden (no more Missoula) and Weber needs to take their rightful seat at #1 (no more griz.)
