Big Sky TV at Weber - Issues

does anyone ever watch the feed to know if its working correctly? we are going on years now where it cuts to the stadium audio during timeouts. those of us watching online the sound doubles during the breaks. its extremely annoying.

 :coffee: :pissed:

Per the usual, the ISU game I have to put my volume up all the way to hear Carl (no choice to hear Dutch :) ) then it cuts to stadium audio and I have to dive over to my computer to turn down the volume which is blasting.

No other big sky feeds besides weber's does this.

then the game starts back up again and I can't hear Carl because I have to go adjust the volume agian.

Up, down, up , down....etc all game long.

sounds like there was a nice interview at halftime with hajek. too bad the stadium audio was blaring on big sky tv over it. though maybe they thought it was sound good to have both going at once.

i could just use klo online but of course its always 30 seconds ahead.

the one improvement i have noticed is the stadium announcer guy during the timeouts is no longer yelling on my laptop. they just need to disable the stadium audio during music ASAP!!! :shocking:

Greetings, Weber fans.

Checking in for the first time this year and I see it's turned into a dance party tonight. Carl and Dutch must be DJ'ing? ;-)

I've lurked here a few times this season and read quite a bit about "the sky is falling" in the post season. Looks to me like scoring is going to be a bigger issue with you in the past but your defense and rebounding looks to be in order tonight.

A few WSU fans may seem to think all is lost but I'm not buying it. There's a looong ways to go in conference.

No one has said that the sky is falling. The Big Sky is actually rising thanks to surprise play from your Jacks and UNC.

There was some high expectations coming into this season. The team hasn't gelled yet. Tonight our rebounding and defense were better, but we had too many turnovers. Coach says we practice zone offense everyday, but we really struggle. I think we are going to get zoned most nights. We have to learn how to work it in against the zone. For a fair assessment of Weber, read Jon Reeds stuff. Our team is under performing right now.

Well have you seen how we play a zone? Our zone is TERRIBLE. Doing well against it in practice means nothing. Look at our first 3 shots tonight. 3 straight 3s out of the gate against their zone and then we finally go inside and Tres scores our first points. Go figure..

Well, Weber did just beat the team with the best zone defense in the conference. I'd say we are improving. Now two areas we are really killing ourselves, TO's and 2pt FG%.

Hey guys, wanted to let you know that we don't ignore everything you all post here. I've taken this feedback to the appropriate people and all known issues should be fixed starting with Thursday's women's game. If you all can, would you all let us know if there are still issues after Thursday?

Also, we will soon be able to broadcast our games with an HD feed through Big Sky TV. We are working on the technical aspects of this, and it might be ready to go as early as this weekend for the women's games.

Fantastic! :thumb: :thumb:

Compliance, thank you for the info, those of us that can not attend all the home games are very grateful for the efforts, so we can see the Cats as much as possible.
WE have friends around the country as well that are appreciative.

the messed up audio was the only thing worth complaining about but if you want a less urgent issue its the score board and clock. its on the top left of the screen but its small and blurry and you cant read it. it would be better to be removed or made larger.

but you made our day by fixing the audio! thanks again!

Check it out after the HD feed is live. If it's still a problem, let me know.

The NAU broadcast was top-notch. After the men's game, I've been trying to pull up the women's game at the DEC and cannot get it to work at all. I'll get an occasional audio blip, then nothing.

SOOOO impressed with NAU broadcast. They have something to do with fox sports in the area but non the less very top notch. Weber take note!

In case you did not see the NAU/Weber game, it will be replayed tonight (Friday) on Fox Sports AZ at 7pm Mountain time. That is channel 686 on Direct TV, not sure of channel on other cable/satellite systems).

Go Wildcats!!

Hey guys, Sac State upgraded this year to a two-camera HD broadcast with a score bar at the bottom. I think you'll find it to be quite good.
