I like the expanded conference. Adding Davis and Poly is going to be fun to watch.

Only thing I'm not really excited about is having to wait until 2015 to see Montana come to town. I've always looked forward to seeing that match up.

The Beauty of the size of the conf is that with so little teams out West the Big Sky can schedule other conf mates (ones that arent on thier conf schedule that year) for OOC games. So even though Portland State doesnt play Montana at home till 2015, they can still schedule them as a home OOC game in the other years.

I'll give you an example, this is Weber's 2012 schedule
Sept. 22 EASTERN WASHINGTON
Sept. 29 at UC Davis
Oct. 6 CAL POLY
Oct. 13 at Sacramento State
Oct. 20 at Southern Utah
Oct. 27 TBA
Nov. 3 MONTANA
Nov. 10 NORTHERN COLORADO
Nov. 17 at Idaho State

And these are other conference teams that Weber can schedule because they arent already on the conf schedule

2012 - Montana St, Portland St, N Arizona or N Dakota

You all better not get coozy with the new conference schedules 'cos the Sky could be adding some more schools soon.....like Idaho and Utah State....possibly San Jose State.

Could happen once Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State hi-tails it for the Sun Belt soon.
