...that's all that can really be said. Win tomorrow and we get a home game for the semifinal.

Jax State is a very good football team looking to add our scalp to their collection. If we come out fired up and play with total intensity for 60 minutes, I think we will be too much for them. We need every OL working his feet and keeping that block just a little longer. We need to give Vernon time to make quality throws or quickly cut to open field. We need Forte to replicate his recent run of great form. And we need our receivers making every catch with a sense of urgency and desperation.

The same is true for the defense. We need 100% focus to read the play, hold contain, and then run to the football as fast as we can. Wrapping up and stopping the ball on first contact is a must.

If we play like we can, this should be a big win. But if we have any lethargy at all, the Gamecocks are good enough to beat us.

This is the kind of game we all live for, as players and fans alike.

McNeese and EIU are done. The road to Frisco goes through Cheney. We can ask for no more. It's ours to win.

Im just reliving the 2010 quarterfinal over again in my head, that was a wild ride. Was it Nic Edwards on the fade to the left corner to tie it up? I KNOW it was Tyler Hart on the first play of overtime. Gotta go get us another homegame.
