Idaho St, UC Davis and Montana St have taken care of business this week so far. Weber got beat by Utah and PSU got POUNDED by Nevada...

A lot of good BigSky games today. NAU at UTEP, Cal Poly at NDSU (ouch?), N. Alabama at SUU, N. Iowa at Montana, and Idaho at Fresno. BigSky wins half of these and it will be a great start for the conference.

NAU bombs UTEP in El Paso. I watched some of that; NAU is pretty good, UTEP is utterly terrible.

Pretty good day for the BigSky, wins over SJSU, UNI, UTEP and the sleeping giant at CWU :shock: TWO FBS wins

I watched about half this game as well. Takeaways: UTEP is bad. ;-)

NAU D line was quick, played heads up and tackled well, their DB's were pretty good too. It was harder to measure the offense. Cookus is good, Butler is good but their RB frightened me. Guy was far quicker than anything CWU had and NAU OL was good against a pretty awful UTEP DL.

WTF happened to Idaho and PSU... Damn. :ohno:

The 79-13 Idaho loss to Fresno st. has bled out the Idaho's message board. Man-o-man it's ug over there. Goes from dropping football to moving back up to fbs. To say they want Petrino's head on a platter is an understatement. Funniest thing is many are blaming this years recruiting class (because of the move to FCS) on the loss as if that would have made any diff. They thought so highly of Petrino's kid at QB since he threw for 8 td's in their scrimmage game and after going 11-23 99 yards and 3 int.'s vs Fresno they want him gone as well as all the dbacks that allowed those 8 scrimmage td's and gave up 79pts yesterday.

*Starting to feel sorry for Idaho.
**No I'm not, can't wait to get tickets for Idaho game.

NAU looked legit! It’s going to be a good game.
 
Watched the UM vs UNI game and wasn't impressed with either team. UNI was ranked 13th but let a pretty average UM offense move the ball on them in the first half. UNI made some adjustments and dominated the second half but could not overcome the 26 point differential they gave up in the first half. I think Central Washingtons offense looked as good as UM. Central's OLine looked better then UM.
