BigSky Games Week 8 (Eags bye)

On another note, did we learn anything about the Bigsky for the remainder of the season?

Can't say there were any surprises. Idaho up next for the Eags. Any injury updates of note?

ISU has a tough slate ahead, Weber's is pretty weak and Eag's control their fate facing UC Davis in a few weeks if they take care of business between here and there. UC Davis is @Griz and @Eags...

Next up Idaho on the Inferno.. Go Eags

The Idaho game looks more concerning now than it did a couple of weeks ago. They've probably played their best football over the last couple weeks, while Eastern played by far the worst game of the season against Weber. Getting our talent on the field instead of on the training table will likely be a determining factor in this one. We not good enough to beat many teams if a Weber game is repeated. Idaho State hung 62 on Idaho and Fresno hung 77 on them. In theory, we should be able to score a mountain of points, but if the execution doesn't improve versus where it was two weeks ago, it'll be a defensive struggle.

Weber's is weak? They play 3 of thier last 4 on the road, 1 against North Dakota, and two straight to finish the season against our two biggest rivals, one of which is an Idaho State team that just happens to be still in the BSC title chase. Our lone home game is against Sacramento. And though SUU is garbage this year it's still a rivalry and they'll be out for blood for the playoff game last season. Weber's schedule is anything but weak

Going to take it week to week. Aside from UC Davis, Eag's have a manageable schedule. Sorry to hear your QB got injured. It's no secret I don't care for UND or ISU so probably have a blind spot there. Weber's D is enough to stop teams like UND and ISU assuming all the starters are available. Of course, Weber should have struggled with Eastern, so who the hell knows. Won't wish Weber good luck at this point but appreciate your passion as a fan. GoEags

Saw we are ranked 9 in the FSC, came out today or earlier. We continue to win, we are in the playoffs. Saw one of our DL on crutches yesterday #60,Caleb Davis, heard he broke his ankle on Home Coming. He was playing very stout. This is his 2nd year. He is going to be great once he heals. Watch for #53 Joshua Jerome DL, fm Monroe High, he is going to be hell once he get some playing time. Here is wishing our team "Good Luck" they are leaving tomorrow for NC, don't know what time. The game on Saturday is an early one, I think it is 11:05a.m. kick off, will be there listening. Go Eagles! Vic E. Wallace

IdaEag92,
Thanks for your concern. I have been kind of winding down, I found out my Type 2 Diabetic is now behind both eyes, I have been taking shots into the right eye every 4 weeks, Will be going in for surgery on Nov 29 on the left eye at 06:30a.m I have been going to the practices, but staying in my truck, the cold keep me in my truck. It doesn't take long for this Virgin Islands body blood to get chilly. Yesterday with all the rain, I fell asleep with the raindrops falling on the roof of my truck. Take care. Vic E. Wallace
