Sweet Jesus, Montana is horrible, horrible.

I feel real bad for their fans. I don't believe they have the mental capacity to understand just how bad they are.

The truth is the game has passed that program by. They may have a few good seasons but I doubt they'll ever have the kind of year in, year out Big Sky dominance they once enjoyed. I don't really see any one team having a chokehold on the conference (at least on their own) for a while. Lots of parity.

Loved the Eags win today.... watching Minshew play is just plain FUN

Lucky said in the WSU prediction thread a while back...
Minshew is for real

Thinking of growing the 'stache

Generally agree with FormerEag, good coaches will elevate the whole BigSky and right now their are some good coaches in the BigSky. It's obvious who are the haves and have nots right now.

UC Davis puts 36 on Gritless Griz in the 4th quarter..... 3 6

Damn.

Recap's
https://www.sacbee.com/sports/college/article220749265.html

http://www.espn.com/college-football/game?gameId=401030394

Weber topped UND in a good game

Cal Poly smoked the crack heads at NAU

Bengirls took care of business against the confused Cats :ohno:

UNC ekes out a victory over SUU

Vikings burn the Hornets to the ground, not even close..

All of a sudden the last three games for the Eags look harder and UC Davis is going to be a good one.

It's probably a non-starter, but that should eliminate Montana from any chance of the playoffs. They could still finish 7-4, but without a Power 5 "excusable" loss, they are pretty much hopeless. I don't think any team will get in with 4 FCS losses barring a total calamity in the top 25.

I worry about our chances of we don't win out, and especially if we don't beat UC Davis. We've pounded the teams we're supposed to beat, but I'm not sure if the teams on our schedule would be considered "quality" wins.

8-3 would definitely get us in, IMO. That would be 7-2 against FCS teams with a dominant win over a top D2 team and a semi-respectable loss o a top 10 Power 5 team. 7-4 would require a train wreck in front of us. If we couldn't get in at 7-4 last year with a top 5 strength of schedule, I don't think we could do it this year. Although that's total BS, and the committee doesn't seem to exercise any logic in their selections (NAU?)

The Big Sky will get three teams in the playoffs UCDavis, Weber, and Eastern. What happens in the last three games will determine seeding. One of those three will get a top 4 seed, one in the next 4, and the other as a first rounder. As we know from last season regional play is important to the committee.
