I don't have a complete handle on what each team did in the 2023 recruiting cycle but thought it would be fun to review some of the classes and see if there are any standouts.

For me, the class "rankings" on 247 jumped out, although they miss many players that signed. If they don't have a .xxx number, it doesn't seem to add to the tally. I believe in the eye test but know that lots of other factors contribute to how a player does at the next level. Example from this years class: Jaylon Jenkins has an 83 3 star rating but no sports composite rating (so no state or nat'l rating). From his huddle, Jaylon is right in the mix with composite 3 star players. Why the miss? I believe a player has to be seen in person to get a composite rating, not just video (correct me if I am wrong).

Not butthurt on the Eagles ranking just want to clear up some of the difficulties in using a service like 247 for relative analysis.

Using the 247 rankings:
PSU 129
Cal Poly 137
Sac St 142
Idaho 143
No. Colo 155
Griz 160
Eagles 161
Everyone else 178 with 0.00 composite scores

They picked up quite a few late signees with composites in the .80's. I don't know how as this is puke u but they did get a LB that is Ojoh 2.0 who had offers from several FBS and a couple of DB's, WR and QB that look like players. Transfer's looked solid. As I mentioned, you can't always tell how this translates at the next level but this ranking was a bit of a surprise and the talent level appears to be good. Not sure it will help in the undisciplined thuggish program being run over there but enough talent to surprise some team out there for sure.

Feb signing of RB King Miller and Delon Thompson could be their best players. No composite 3 stars with FBS offers.

Wow. Wulff brought in some real talent. 5 star transfer Huard from UW and then signed high composite WR's to give him someone to throw two. The rest of the class are mostly rated in the 80's (no composites) and have multiple offers from Ivy League and FBS schools. Another good RB signing with offers to Liberty, Louisville etc to go with the WR and QB signee's and a DL signee with offers to Utah St and Nevada. Solid group that should make CP better immediately. I mentioned this could be a +6 game improvement class. Lots of things have to come together for that but this is a good start.

Weird that there were NO OL signees. Going to add that Erik Meyer is the QB coach and I think Sheldon Cross at OC is a good add. Time will tell. Wulff is ready to make one last run after being behind the scenes for many years IMO. He sure as hell didn't sit on his ass to secure this class.
