Boise

Since the success of the Boise program directly traces its roots back to UC Davis (Hawkins, now Peterson), maybe this is a secret plot by the Ags to destroy Sac's chances at success

hahaha well it may look that way right now but I will reserve my judgement until I see who is hired to replace some great hornets

The Aggies under Jim Schoor have produce a number of great players as well as coaches. Their must be some something they are doing right to develop coaches and players that have been successful wherever they go! In addition, Patterson the coach at TCU did a stint at Davis. Paul Wluff at Washington State is also a Davis guy! Sac is moving up and will be in cintention for the BIG SKY title this coming year!

I can't help to ask how Paul Wulff playing football at Davis High School has anything to do with UCD.

wulff? we don't take ANY blame for him!

we claim patterson down at TCU; that one year in Davis was the springboard!

i feel for Wulff..inherited a TOUGH situation up there in the Palouse. They showed improvement this year. that's a TOUGH, TOUGH job, especially now that Boise is a nice player, and Utah is joining the Pac-Something.

don't forget to get to add Bellotti to our 'cradle of coaches'. they did a feature on that topic one night on an ESPN game with Colorado playing and Bellotti announcing. did a little flashback to the 'Miracle Game' that Bellotti scored the last TD. kind of cool to the see the UCD logo on a ESPN broadcast.

in Bellotti's last year, there were 3 former Aggies coaching major programs.

Dr. Mike-- My point exactly. Coached influences by Schoor have been very successful. Look at the tenure of the coaching staff under Biggs. The O-line coach retired last year after spending 40 years there!

D-line coach, actually..but...point well taken. Funny thing is that I remember reading a Sperback quote of a couple years back that referenced the stability of the Davis staff as a model for building a successful program.

we lost two guys with 30 or more years at Davis on the defensive side the past couple years. replacements have been very good, brought new life/attitude. i'd like to see some fresh faces on the other side of the ball, preferably guys with a bit of experience with successful programs.

You guys be nice to Wulff. His family goes to my church and are wonderful people....

;)

You are correct, they are a great family. Also Coach Wulff is a incredible man and a fantastic coach. I have no doubt he will get that program turned around.
